Te Puna ('the spring') is a café and function venue with great indoor and outdoor spaces, located in the heart of Auckland Zoo overlooking the central lake and wetlands.
The design of Te Puna utilises a robust palette of materials. The acoustic café ceiling provides internal sound absorption, creating a calm space and insulating against outward projecting noise – essential for the wellbeing of the Zoo’s animals.
With incredible views across the lake area, Te Puna promises to deliver a true Zoo dining and event experience, those dining on the expansive outdoor deck will be just metres away from orangutans and Siamang gibbons as they traverse a network of towering connected aerial pathways.
Te Puna is available for evening hire only.
Host an intimate gala dinner in its lush surrounds for up to 150, or a cocktail function for up to 250 on its expansive balcony.
